McDonnell Campaign Launches Social Network

“McDonnell Action” Will Bring Together Supporters Statewide; Online Home of McDonnell Campaign

RICHMOND - The gubernatorial campaign of Bob McDonnell announced today the launch of its own social network, McDonnell Action.  The network will be a vital component in spreading Bob McDonnell’s positive message of new jobs and more opportunities across the Commonwealth. 

McDonnell Action allows users to interact, form groups, post blogs, photos and video from the campaign trail and to stay informed and active on behalf of McDonnell 24-7.  It will combine the use of mobile technology, social media and online communications and will be integrated throughout the entire campaign.

Speaking about the launch of McDonnell Action, McDonnell for Governor Press Secretary, Crystal Cameron noted, “Today’s launch is yet another step in our continued effort to make this the most technologically adept campaign in Virginia political history.”

McDonnell grassroots supporters have been the heart and soul of this campaign, and McDonnell Action will increase the opportunities for them to organize others in support of Bob McDonnell for Governor.
