I like the ad. I think it is to the point, and present a strong message showing that you favor working women.

It is a shame that you have to defend yourself like this. Deeds continues to play ads condemning you for you thesis twenty years ago, because he has nothing else on you. He is trying to deceive the people of this state, and has no plans for anything other than to raise taxes.

I agree with BF. You have this race. You have the plan, and you stay focus on the issues. Keep it up!

Keep the pedal to the medal; Deeds doesn’t have anything on you. Its a shame, Deeds, has nothing to run on.

The ad is very good.  I also wrote a letter to our local paper in support of Bob McDonnell.  I asked Deeds what had he done for Virginia?  I could not think of anything he had done but we all know what Bob McDonnell had done as Attorney General.  The legislation passed to put criminals behind bars and put child molesters in jail for longer periods of time.  Keep up the good work, we will have an outstanding governor, lt. Gov. and attorney general in McDonnell,Bolling, and Cuccinelli.  We just have to learn to spell Ken"s name.  Anne

I like the ad we needed one to counter Deeds’ women ad

I am a woman, and I really admire Bob McDonnell. I have been watching him for a few years, now, and after researching his history, I’m so convinced that I want him as my governor. He is the right person for this job at this point in our state’s history, and it bothers me that his opponent can’t offer more than some trumped up, old term paper as opposition research. Why not offer solutions for the state of VA? How is this even a contest? Bob will win this, and he will win it handily. People are tired of the same old same old.

I agree with you Timothy, great ad and response to Deeds’ negative ad.

I am a working woman with daughters who are working women, I support Bob and respect him as a politician with great integrity, and brain power.  Great ad!!

Bob McDonnell’s thesis of 20 years ago was idealistic on the part of a conservative.  As an intelligent, thinking, concerned politician, he knows that he has had to make some changes in his thinking as the world changed.  If Creigh Deeds has not changed any of his thinking in the last 20 years, it is all the more reason why he shouldn’t be governor.  I see by all of his ads that he wants to follow in the steps of Mark Warner if he should be elected.  How does that set with Tim Kaine—what about all of the policies of Kaine’s to which Deeds has acquiesced?  Deeds’s campaign is fraught with bells and whistles, nothing else.  Northern Virginia wants to believe they are in control of this election.  That is why Deeds is pandering to them.  May we, in the rest of VA, come to our senses and elect the person who will do the most for real Virginians—Bob McDonnell!!!—and not put the ultra-liberal voices from northern VA before the real concerns of Virginia.  Remember—VIRGINIA FIRST!!!

I don’t live in Virginia, but we’ve certainly been accosted with a steady diet of Deeds’ advertising over here.  This ad comes as a breath of fresh air.

Jeanine McDonnell can certainly speak from first-hand experience about her father.  I’ll take that over an academic term paper any day of the week:  Actions versus words (or is it actions versus Deeds)?

“By their fruits you shall know them ...”

This ad and others . . . targeted toward women . . . needs to be out there front and center . . . again and again!  The opponent’s “trumped up, old term paper” ad is, unfortunately, very effective and many women are swaying.  Bob McDonnell is, without question, the most qualified candidate.  He MUST win!  But we still have much work to do to make sure that happens!

It is a very good ad. It’s very positive. The McDonnells are a wonderful family. However, I couldn’t be a happier stay-at-home mom who doesn’t work a bit. I love taking care of my family and find it absolutely fulfilling. ...Anyway, Mr. McDonnell’s going to be a great governor!
