Bloomberg, Cavuto, PBS and Offshore: McDonnell in the News
I wanted to make sure you saw a few news items from the past week: Earlier this week, Governor McDonnell was up at the NASDAQ stock exchange in Times Square where he rang the bell to promote Virginia businesses, and had time to sit down with Fox News and Bloomberg TV for interviews on his job creation and fiscal management work in the Commonwealth.
That same day the Governor announced he was using his line item veto to cut state funding from PBS, again demonstrating his commitment to smart and prudent spending of limited taxpayer dollars. And today, the Governor published an Op-Ed in the Richmond Times-Dispatch where he details how the President’s prohibition on offshore oil drilling is hurting American job creation, jeopardizing our national security and severely impacting the finances of every American family due to rising energy prices.
