Attorney General McDonnell,

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your upcoming run.  I am a student at The Catholic University of America and the College Republicans at CUA are looking forward to getting involved in your campaign for office of Governor in VA.

This is a GREAT start…but there is much to be done on the internet still! I want to know Bob McDonnell the candidate, but also Bob McDonnell the person…I hope his campaign will consider posting a video or two on the website and on youtube of Mr. McDonnell hanging out with his family or taking us through his home and introducing us to his children…it’d be humanizing and I know we’d all be interested in meeting him.

I’m excited to have such a dynamic leader up for Virginia’s top job.  It’s time for new leadership in the Commonwealth, and an intelligent conservative like Bob McDonnell is exactly what we need.  I read the article from the Weekly Standard and couldn’t be more pleased with his efforts to extend the Republican base in Northern Virginia.

I’m loving the new additions. The Facebook updates are great. I agree with what the person above said about making some personal videos. Just have Bob speak straight to the people. But the new additions are wonderful, and a great way to reach out to young people.

Once again conservative Christians have a chance to support a public servant who understands and shares our values. We do not have to look far back to learn what happens if conservatives fail to energize and come together with passion for what we believe.

I love what Bob and his staff have done with these technologies to reach out, but he cannot do this alone. Everyone of us must not miss the opportunity speak out where we live and work. We must invest in our values in tangible ways. If we want Bob to become the top servant leader in Virginia, we have to make it happen. This campaign must not become a media show in which we become mere spectators.

When a community discovers its values, there is nothing it cannot change.

Good luck in the election Mr. McDonnell, you have my vote.

The GOP needs a leader right now, I am hoping you can be the savoir of this party Mr. McDonnell.

Good looking new website McDonnell team.  Keep fundraising and Mr. McDonnell will be in the mansion soon enough.

With the house of representatives standing up to the democrats on the stimulus and big spending, in such a large way that, in fact, was bigger news than the passing of the stimulus itself, it is easy to see the bright future of the republican party. The small government, limited spending conservatives are back, and Bob McDonnell will help lead the way. I am more excited about this governors race than I was for the presidency, and I know a lot of Virginians feel the same way.

I really hope we can pull this off! Everyone get involved!

Bob,
I look forward to seeing you run for Governor. I would like to say that I would vote for you, however I have yet to see where you stand on important issues. I’ll check back here often. It is time Virginia gets back to its roots. As a volunteer firefighter, what are your plans for rural fire department funding? The state police is constantly coming in last on funding…the computers are a century behind in technology as well as pay. Good luck!

Mr. McDonnell,

What will you do to defend families from family court judges who deny parent, mostly fathers, their fundamental, God-given, constitutional right to parenthood?

So excited to see the new technology on your website! I have signed up to follow you on Twitter and tweeted others to do the same. Now I’ll alert all my FB friends to sign up on your page and follow the campaign. I hope others will do the same, so you can build a huge base. Fantastic!

Hello, I am a Democrat (not of the Obamanation kind )and worked hard preparing rallies for Sarah Palin, post Hillary’s departure from the primary race.  While working at National HQ for Hillary I had the opportunity to get to know Terry McAuliffe as well as received some mighty fine training on the campaign trails.  For that reason, I understand that you, Mr. McDonnell, are the answer for Virginia.  Over the last month I have been deligently blogging for you around the Clinton websites still together and still keeping in touch.  Many of us learned that issues and not party represents what is important and Virginia needs to go Republican.  You have my complete support and I hope to rally as many of the old Clinton gang to come with me on your behalf.  With support of issues such as bringing ERA for women to Virginia I am sure I can get you phone callers from across the country.  The Dems may talk the big talk for women’s rights but the Republicans seem to walk the walk when it comes to women in politics.  Looking forward to both meeting you and working hard on your behalf.

Hello everyone. I’m a Southern Independent (residing in Virginia now, due to Military transfer - husband recently retired after 20 years.), with realistic/commonsense 21st Century views.  Before I contribute to any more political campaigns. I want to know where the Candidate stood/stands—on the economical solutions Congress has passed and is trying to pass again. First “Bail-out” : Over 700 billion approved. 350 billion spent . Where did it go ?  Whom did it help? Accountability ? . Second “Stimulus Bill”(passed House, going to Senate for vote): Where does the Candidate stand on this current 800 billion plus “Stimulus Bill” ? Thank-You

Great new web site! What can we do to help? Can you provide a call to action for those wishing to do things to help Bob get elected?

Are you providing text updates as well?

1) How will you deal with the stimulus bill likely foisted on virginia?

2) How do you intend to promote growth?

3) How do you intend to balance virginias budget?

4) What is your position on aircraft carrieer moved to Florida by the Navy? Surely the Navy has non politicol reasons to do so, why are they not good enough?

Bob:

You are a breath of fresh air—we need you to be our Governor.  Your video was very informative and showed true dedication to our great State merely by not wanting to detract from the business of the State while you are running for our Governor—someone in the critical positions of our State cannot serve two “lords”.

I am available to work on your campaign and would greatly appreciate the opportunity—we need to get rid of the dem hold on our State—Our State is not really a “welfare state”

God Bless and keep you and your family.

completely agree with the above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.

As a Democrat (for now and not of the Obama kind) I am impressed with you as a candidate for VA Governor having had the opportunity to know some of the DEM opposition, especially Terry, who I have worked with in the past.  However, the recent polls indicate that you are only slightly ahead of the two stronger DEM candidates and they are of little consequence right now.  To win, you will need the women’s vote and voice.  We are a strong force throughout the country and it can be harnessed to your advantage if you are supportive of issues that concern us such as sexual descrimination, equal pay, ERA etc.  It is my hope to work hard for you and to bring much with me in support of you.  I truely believe you can bring Virginia forward but I kneed to know—What can you do for the women of Virginia?

Bob—tried to ‘friend’ you on Facebook, as you suggested today 2/28 @ Parham event..  it came back “invalid e-mail’so, what e-mail works??

You’re spot on in focusing on technology—it’s the only way to counter the Democratic machine, cost us the election in 08…

cheers!

Good luck, sir, and God Bless…

You got my vote and I appreciate your stand on most issues.  I work for Pleasant View, Inc., a non-profit organization that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities.  We’re located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. We’d like to request that you:
*Restore the proposed 5% rate cut and ensure that as the budget shortfall is “fixed” larger cuts do not occur,
*Fund the 200 Waiver slots that were cut from this year’s budget
*Ensure that slots are not “frozen” in the future
Thank you for providing the quality of the services provided and the jobs of the staff who provide them.
