I think this really captures the attitude of the GOP across the country right now… everyone is expecting these sort of wins across the board in 2010. I think Republicans in Congress need to focus on killing this healthcare bill before they can get too excited about next year though. Congrats Bob on keeping VA red.

I agree with both Annieflies and Stuart. In addition - recognize that the GOP flag is flying high. the stakes are high. Seize the moment and keep the momentum. I have hope now that the conservative message can be publicized more clearly. The key now is to bring new people into the process and revitalize people that have gotten burned out. The “Republican Message” has got to get past being sound-bites that are easily denigrated. That’s where the social websites come in and tea parties where real people meet face to face sharing ideas and encouragment. The GOP needs to have some growing pains and relational “moments of truth”
