Why was VDOT directed to bring major roads down to the pavement before EVEN plowing out side roads. People have been stuck in their homes for almost a week now. This is costing Tax payers and the gov’t a lot of money. No one can go to work or school due to blocked side roads. Suggest the next snow that VDOT just plow major roads to snow cover and also get to the side roads. This would save a lot of money in getting people back to work, school and buying things. Our road is completely snow covered, cars are stuck. Now we are expecting another snow to dump more snow which will keep us in our homes more days. Loosing a lot of money for the gov’t.
