Governor McDonnell it seems only fitting that there is a Pipe and Drum band in your inauguration parade. We are the local (Richmond) marching Pipe and Drum band. We participate in numerous parades each year, and would consider it an honor to play in the inauguration parade.  For more information on our band please visit out web site at http://www.salpd.com .

Continue to hear the voice of the people is the true secret. Virgina’s current Senators voted according to party lines and not according to what Virginians have stated loud and clear in town hall meetings, phone calls and emails which is,“Do not vote for the Health Care Plan that was sent from the House”.  As a result, the constituents will voice their distaste in the next election by voting Mr. Warner and Mr. Webb out of office.  They should had listened.

From that article:
“The shorthand: run on economic policy, downplay divisive cultural issues, present an upbeat tone, target independent voters and focus on Democratic-controlled Washington—all without attacking President Barack Obama personally.”

Seems like Republicans have suddenly seized upon common sense. People like nice people… people don’t like personal attacks against the president.

And it seems that Bob got something that the Republican party has been ignoring for years: “It’s the economy, stupid.” 2010 needs to be about spending, deficits, and sound fiscal policy.
