Mr. McDonnell, just want to say congratulations on your victory, and a victory for all Virginia Republicans like myself.  I support you til you are reelected, and pray that you will succeed in your endeavors as my Governor.  Also, we both know a certain individual that would be a great asset in the McDonnell organization.  This person is my best friend and Board of Supervisors in Caroline County, Port Royal District Bobby Popowicz.  I know he has campainged for you for a long while, and he has the drive and ambition that you would need.  I helped Bob campaign in 2007, and it was very educating.  I pledged strong support to his campaign, and I know he has done the same to you.

I was looking through Steve’s sight and I was glad to see that he has spent time volunteering with the Boy Scouts. Seems like he will be a great help to Bob in getting his goals accomplished.

I saw in the news that you were criticizing the “purity tests” proposed by some Republicans. Thank you! Somebody needs to tell these people that politics is about addition, not subtraction. While we should be principle, we should also be open and accepting.
