While I am not currently unemployed I do have friends who were laid off from their jobs who are now in a job market that is not in good shape. Our state needs a governor who is willing to keep government spending low while paving the way for more jobs being created. I think a Bob McDonnell administration would provide that.

Good morning, I am one of the 600 worker about to loose their job with VDOT. I have worked on the highways for nine years as a SSP for the URS corp. I play a very vital roll on the highways by keeping the traffic following, assisting rescue and police.  In nine years on the roads I and my co workers have saved countless number of lives and maintained the follow of heavy traffic.  This task is becoming harder and even more dangerious by the day.  We have more drivers that do everything but drive. Our highways are so busy in my area that I am worried about all the people that will need our help when we are let go later this year.  The money for this program comes from the taxes of our citizens pay and we tell motorist this fact they are greatful..

Last night on the job we handled three terrible accidents in the span of less than two hours.  As soon as we cleared up from one we were sent to another.
This is becoming the norm not the exception.  I am concern with many things in this world today and this is a small part.  I hope with all my heart that McDonnell will always remember what our founding Fathers wanted for this GREAT country.  Never forget the voice of the people is the true power…  Thank you

Everyone who has been to a state government office for any private or business issues knows that there is room for improvement in terms of customer service & efficiency. Many small businesses have gone to Maryland because they are more business friendly. It’s nice to see Bob McDonnell tuning in on this issue; I want to live in VA and keep my family owned business in VA and employ from my local community.  Good luck Bob!
