New Rasmussen Poll Shows McDonnell in Lead
A new Rasmussen poll released today gave a breakdown of Bob McDonnell vs. each of the three potential Democratic nominees. Bob’s support ranged from 3 to 9 points ahead of each of his prospective opponents. It’s still early, but its clear that Bob’s conservative message is resonating with Virginians.

Let’s never be overconfident. These results look good, but we can never be to sure. Fight, defend, work, win this election for freedom, family, and faith: for these values we stand.
I am so excited and will be doing all I can to assist in McDonnell’s nomination…
Note to Taylor: I believe we must continue with 100% confidence. I believe a person and in this case a group must always be in the right state of mind, which means there is 100% confidence of winning this race. This includes confidence for future Governor McDonnell… Heck, this goes for anything an individual does in his/her life…
Anything I can do to assist in the Virginia Beach area, please let me know…
McDonnell will win! No and-if-or but about it.
I was impressed with the video but there was one sour note for me—that “bi-partisanship” deal. That might work for independents, but conservatives have had enough of it. Rush has made major hay over that word. To conservatives, “bi-partisanship” means republicans bend over and take whatever the dems have to offer—never the other way around. And like Rush, I DON’T WANT to do things the dem way. I want to do them the conservative way.
Had a thought for major fundraising bucks today. I saw on the conservatives4palin site that she’s posssibly going to attend a fundraiser in Va. for Bob. A few of us on the site have bemoaned the fact that we’d never be able to afford the price. However, if I could get a signed 8X10 of Governor Palin for a modest $5 or $10 or free to campaign volunteers, I’d buy one (I’m already signed on to help).
If Sarah did a rally for Bob (for the economically challenged among us), the turnout would be massive. I went to her rally at the raceway last fall. The Times-Dispatch estimated 6,000; the actual tally was $25,000.
I’m 100% with Sandy. I too am sick of the so-called “bi-partisanship” crap that the democrats spew when they want you to agree with them. Bob needs to learn that up front or he will lose my vote, I don’t want a representative in Richmond that does it their way, I want it done my way.
The Republicans will take this seat easily with McDonnell. Keep up the good work team!
I also agree completely with Sandy. We conservatives are ready to fight for the fiscal and social principles that will (with God’s help) keep our country great. We cannot afford to sound “politically correct” by using the meaningless term “bi-partisan.” That word has been used to lure conservatives and independents to the “other side.”
Right on Sandy. I didn’t vote for Bush (didn’t vote for that other guy who won either) because the republicans have NOT stood by their guiding principles. We do not need triangulation, we don’t need mealy-mouthed career politicians, and bipartisanship doesn’t seem to win anyone over. What we need is someone to say we’re right, we know we’re right and we are going to fight all the way, everyday, and to say it in a strong, clear, loud and convincing way. Compromise is for them. We know where we stand.
