Monday McDonnell Roundup

Bob is scheduled to take part in a gubernatorial community forum at Virginia Union University. However, there were some changes to the format of the forum after the Deeds campaign requested both candidates not share the stage at the same time. Read full details about the forum here.

Also, Bob attended the Washington Redskins game yesterday. His wife, a former Redskinette, performed during halftime with fellow alumni. Check out a photo of the halftime show below:

Take some time to read an excellent blog post by Virginia Virtucon about the outpouring of support for Bob from the business community.

I think Deeds is worried. He doesn’t want share the stage with you, because he knows he will just mess up again.

Thank you for the mailing about your family military service.  My family, as well, comes from a long line of veterans - from the Revolutionary War to the current War on Terror.  My son leaves for Afghanistan within the next two months.  He has served in the military for almost 11 years and is a graduate from Embry Riddle University.  From all that I’ve read of you and Deeds I am convinced you are the right choice to be our next governor.  Sincerely,
