To The Best Governor Virginia!
I would like to help out with the inauguration and anything we can provide from Northern Virginia, near
Mount Vernon. Please provide us with a means of making
this a memorable and honorable event, because we are
proud of Bob and his family.
Sincerely,
Richard Cauthers

I’m very glad you are taking education seriously, even this soon after the election!
What other issues are you concerned with in education other than school choice? I’m also glad to see that you are focusing on it this early.
Amy - check out ‘education’ under the issues tab at the top of the page. Some of the things mentioned are college partnership lab schools, specialization in high school for high demand industries, and increasing virtual schools.
Glad the GOP is looking in the right direction for their strategy. I hope it won’t be like the disaster in New York in 2010
I think the GOP has learned their lesson… they’re going to start nominating more Bob McDonnells and fewer Scozzafavas!
Congressional races are important but I think the GOP is looking at this strategy more for gubernatorial races… you can’t nominate someone like Scozzafava for a governorship anyway, she’s too far to the edge of the party.
Please Governor McDonnell—
I’m a resident of Northern VA who would like my children to have absolute freedom in elementary education. I’m currently homeschooling so that I can pick and choose the best materials for them, but it’s really causing major financial stress for us.
If Pell Grants are legal for post-secondary education, then why not for elementary education?
I know so many families who are really suffering economically in order to put their children in private school. The teachers at the private schools don’t get paid very well either. And yet they do a good job. It seems unjust.
