Fairfax Chamber Endorses Bob
Earlier this morning, Bob received the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce endorsement. The chamber represents more than 700 member companies.
“Mr. McDonnell earned the support of NOVABizPAC because of his overall stronger support for the Fairfax County Chamber’s priorities, specifically for identifying a plan for transportation,’’ NOVABizPAC Chairwoman Fran Fisher said.

I’m glad this happened. Deeds’ transportation ‘plan’ as outlined in the Wash Post this morning remains a ‘non plan’. Essentially, it’s Obama’s approach to healthcare reform, “I want it, and my plan is to get others to design a plan to get it done.” As we’ve seen with ObamaCare, that’s not a plan. You’d think the Deeds people would’ve learned something over the last few months about the effectiveness of such a method. By deferring to yet another commission rather than spelling out his own vision, it’s hard to avoid the conclusion that Deeds either doesn’t have his own vision because he’s not in tune with the problem, or he does have a vision and doesn’t want to articulate it out of fear that it won’t be popular. Either way, it’s not leadership. I’m happy the FCC sees this.
