Coach Kelly has a fantastic track record in stops at Central Michigan and Cincinnati and has been known for getting a program turned around quickly. However, we should all pay attention to his defensive coordinator hire (as yet unannounced to the best of my knowledge) as Notre Dame’s problems in recent years have revolved around their defense’s inability to stop me and 10 buddies from scoring at will. Offensively, however, Kelly should have no problem building on the crop of talented, but undeveloped players left by Charlie Weiss.
