Tight Race in McDonnell Bracket Madness

The Final Four is set to be played this weekend and we hope your McDonnell Madness bracket entry is doing better than Bob’s. He only has one Final Four team left! Bob’s bracket has scored 76 points, putting him 295th in the standings.

The top five entries as of today are:

1) Greg Scanlon with 105 points
2) Jeremy Gaudreau with 103 points
3) Randy Marcus with 101 points
4) Greg Hopkins with 100 points
5) Jim Mortland and Joseph Taylor, each with 99 points

Don’t forget the winner of McDonnell Bracket Madness gets to either have dinner with Bob or play in a 3-on-3 pick-up game with Bob and his twin boys, Sean and Bobby.

Bob Stops at University of Virginia

Bob made a stop at the University of Virginia Tuesday morning as part of his “New Jobs, More Opportunities” Tour.

During this visit, Bob stressed the importance of small businesses and his goal of removing regulatory taxes for these businesses.

Bob Shows a Lighter Side

Bob had a busy weekend as he traveled around the Commonwealth kicking off his “New Jobs More Opportunities” Tour. On Monday, however, Bob found some time to relax and play music with former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. At a fundraising event in Bristol, the two took the stage and showed off their musical talent. View the footage of the event below:

McDonnell Minute

Last night Bob reached out to New Media regarding his kickoff campaign. Check out his guest post on The Next Right discussing the campaign.

Former Arkansas governor and republican presidential nominee will be joining the campaign to raise money for Bob, Wavy 10 has more.

Bob held a blogger conderence call yesterday evening, Loudoun Lady has a great write-up covering the call. Bearing Drift also spent time with Bob on the phone and has a podcast from last night up here.

While on the campaign trail, Bob made a surprise visit to a NAACP event in Martinsville, watch a short clip from the event here.
