Have you been a part of our Winning Weekend walks yet? Our walks keep growing and we have knocked on thousands of doors across the Commonwealth spreading Bob’s positive message of new jobs and more opportunities.
In July, Bob called for ten debates and his opponent countered with a proposal for four debates. On Tuesday, Bob offered a compromise that would commit the candidates to seven real debates over the next three months leading up to the November election. However, yesterday Deeds declined the compromise.
Bob was selected yesterday by House Minority Leader John Boehner to respond to President Barack Obama’s weekly radio address this Saturday. Read more about it here.

The blogosphere is buzzing after a new PPP survey released yesterday found Bob with a 14-point lead over his Democratic opponent. Read their commentary:
Bob campaigned in Winchester yesterday with Congressman Frank Wolf. The two started near Loudoun Street Mall and went door-to-door visiting businesses and talking with voters. You can see pictures of the event below.
Also, Bob will participate in an online video chat with the Richmond Times-Dispatch today at 2:00 p.m. You can submit questions by emailing news (@) timesdispatch (dot) com. The chat will stream live at http://www.timesdispatch.com
Sheila Johnson, co-founder of BET, President of the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and life-long Democrat wrote more on her endorsement of Bob in a great Washington Post op-ed piece last Friday.
As a businesswoman Johnson is faced with the effects of a 25-year high state unemployment rate, and current market turmoil on a daily basis. After meeting with all the candidates, and examining their records and proposals, Johnson believes that Bob McDonnell “stood out” as the one who would best lead the Commonwealth of Virginia in the right direction
Rain delays prevented Bob from throwing out the first pitch in yesterday’s Potomac Nationals game, but Bob stuck around and greeted fans. Despite the weather not cooperating, we were able to get some great photos of Bob with fans.
Bob had a busy day yesterday attending Asian Fest in Reston and county fairs across the state.
Keep checking back this afternoon as we will be posting pictures from the Louisa County Agricultural Fair, the Albemarle County Fair, and pictures of Bob’s first pitch at today’s Potomac Nationals baseball game.
Take a look at some pictures below of Bob’s time in Reston.
