Bob McDonnell is a Leader

Bob McDonnell is the only Leader in the race for governor. His opponents all admit we need economic development and we need to end our dependence on foreign oil. But they scramble over each other to kowtow to the extremist wing of their party and refuse to look at offshore drilling, sequestered coal, and nuclear power. Their promises will get in the way of our prosperity. As Governor, Bob McDonnell will lead on issues of energy independence and economic development, and Virginia will become a national leader in new fields of green technology.
 
Bob McDonnell will stand up for Virginia’s rights. In the last 100 days we’ve seen startling growth in the federal government. When this current administration stops firing CEOs and starts bossing around Governors, we need Bob McDonnell to be there to say: "No, Mr. President." I don’t think we can trust any of the Democrats in this race to put Virginia first. 
 
Republicans need to turn out in force for Bob McDonnell. I’m from Prince William County, Virginia, where Barack Obama began and ended his general election campaign. When Republicans in Prince William County deliver a huge win for Bob McDonnell’s ticket and all our delegate candidates, Republicans from all over the country will look to Virginia and know for sure that the tide is turning. A big win in Virginia will give comfort to our allies and darken our opponents doors. 
 
It has been far too long since Virginia had a leader in the Governor’s mansion. We must help Bob McDonnell win in November. In these times of economic crisis, Virginia cannot afford to lose.

Bob Will Create Jobs

From putting himself through Notre Dame on an Army R.O.T.C. scholarship, to serving as a prosecutor in Virginia Beach, to becoming a leader in the House of Delegates to serving as Virginia’s 44th Attorney General, Bob McDonnell has dedicated himself to making our nation and our Commonwealth a better place to live, work, and raise a family.  In these tough times we need folks in office who not only understand the difficulties Virginians are facing, but leaders who can also effectively address those problems.  I know that Bob McDonnell will be the leader Virginia needs.  Bob is a principled public servant, someone who is always willing to listen and work with folks from all across Virginia to solve problems.  Whether it is getting our economy moving, creating new jobs and opportunity for all Virginians, providing excellent educational opportunities for our children, to making Virginia a leader in America’s energy independence and new green technology, Bob McDonnell will get the job done for all of us.
