McDonnell Minute

It’s official!! Bob McDonnell is the Republican nominee for Governor.  The Republican Party of Virginia held their annual convention this past weekend in Richmond.  If you couldn’t make it to the event, no worries, check out photos from the event here.

The convention was exciting today and I was able to mix and mingle with numerous bloggers on bloggers row.

Convention Day

2:29 PM - Congressman Rob Wittman is speaking now.

2:24 PM - Kay Cole James has been elected temporary Chairman.

2:09 PM - RPV Chairman Pat Mullins just called the convention to order.

1:27 PM - The staff getting ready backstage.

12:54 PM - Delegates are slowly trickling into the hall.

12:45 PM - An hour and 15 minutes to go before the convention is scheduled to begin.  The crowd is filling in the VIP Delegate room and some are beginning to settle in the Coliseum.

11:42 AM - Prepared signs to be used later.

11:40 AM - 20 minutes until doors open.

11:04 AM - Delegates registering.
