In an article published yesterday in the Fairfax Times, Bob discusses the dog fight that is to be the 2009 Virginia governor’s race. In the article, Bob states “My race will be about transportation and education, higher education and jobs and economic growth.”
The article also sheds light on the notion that history favors the McDonnell camp. Since 1976, the party that won the White House has lost the Virginia governor’s race the following year.

This lease would not only create thousands of jobs for the state, it would bring some much needed revenue.
